FALLS PREVENTION

What are the signs?

  • Dizziness

  • Lack of coordination

  • Weakness in muscles

  • Ringing or blockage in ears

  • Unsteadiness on feet

  • Poor vision

 

What to do?

  • Stay hydrated.

  • Exercise regularly to strengthen muscles, improve balance and flexibility.

  • Have eyes checked regularly.

  • Use walking devices for assistance if necessary.
